  The new pastor is great and delivers a powerful meaningful message to the congregation every week. The parishoners welcome new faces with open arms.

  Our family recently moved to Charlotte and one of the first things on the agenda was to find a Christian church to attend. We were very active in our old church, to include vestry positions. We found Peace Lutheran church to be a huge disappointment. The pastor Sarah was superficial and condescending to us and all of her regular parishioners. Service was carried out and oriented like a catechism session where Pastor Sarah talks and sermons like everyone is five years old. Even my pre-teen sons commented after service that she seems to talk like baby talk and they didn’t like it. After service we talked to Pastor Sarah during coffee hour, she is extremely artificial, we could tell she couldn’t care less for us or our questions about the church. She talked to us like uncaring preschool teacher. We decided the church and the parishioners could be a good fit for us, but without an adult Pastor that has an air of professionalism and maturity to lead and foster to the congregation we will not become members.
